Seafarer Restaurant is a restaurant by the
beach a few minutes away from the Melaka city centre. Known as one of the best
seafood restaurants in town, seafood lovers, food lovers and tourists of Melaka
should make it a point to visit at sometime during your trip. Serving only the
best and freshest ingredients, Seafarer caters to Peranakan cuisine (Nyonya),
local and some western selection. Added to its location by the beach, Seafarer
also boosts enough space to accommodate up to 600 guests at any time and thus
available for various functions including wedding dinners. Guests could also

Being a restaurant long enough to establish
a firm ground among other seafood restaurants, the dishes at Seafarer comes
with a recommended tag by the chef to ensure a memorable experience, especially

Steamed Fish Nyonya Style, Chilli Crab, Assam Pedas Fish, Sotong Sambal Petai,
and Pai Tee.
While the Nyonya cuisine may not be the most authentic, the taste
is close enough to the original that the nyonya style dishes received nothing
but much praised from previous patrons. The fishes here comes in various
species that customers could choose for themselves or get a recommendation from
the staff. Another must try is the Butter Prawn, a stir fry prawn dish with a
prominent butter taste. Butter prawn is a favourite at any restaurant and those
who sell good ones should always get special mention.

in the restaurant, paired with great oldies playing in the speakers also makes
