In 2014, Ami Domicile started their
operation in Soho Ipoh neighbouring Stan & Brew offering simple yet refined
Western delicacies. You know that saying ‘less is more’? Well, that is what Ami
Domicile is all about. From the signboard to the interior, everything is just
simple with no fancy or crazy décor. Wooden furniture and lovely hanging
lights, the space gives out a really nice and warm vibe to it. If you look
closely at the name ‘domicile’, it means home in old English.
In line with their simple and humble
concept, their menu is also very simple yet decent. From pasta, fish and chips,
sandwiches, to scrumptious desserts, patrons can expect delicious and fresh gastronomy,
here at Ami Domicile. For a starter, go for their Pumpkin Soup. With the exquisite
presentation that looks like a contemporary art, the creamy and smooth soup is
wonderfully seasoned and goes very well with the charcoal bread on the side.
Safe to say that it is probably one of the best pumpkin soup you will ever
taste.
For pasta, try their signature White Wine
Cream Linguine that gives you a well-balanced flavour from the mushroom, ham, herb-based
white cream and a sprinkle of olive oil. The Pan-Seared Fish is also up on
their menu for those who wants something for a change. As for desserts, items
like macaroons and cheesecakes is always there to cheer up your day. Lunch sets
that will costs you less than RM25 is available for those who are under a budget.
The set consists of a drink, a main and a dessert.
