Ayam Penyet literally mean the flattened chicken. There are many other way of tenderizing the chicken, (but in this case) a piece of chicken thigh is smashed by wooden hammer which give the chicken more flavor and easily to be eat. Beside the flattened chicken, beef and fish, you would be glad to find other dishes like soup and grilled chicken and meat. But it's not wrong to order and try the signature Ayam Penyet at here.
