The interior of the shop is simple but comfortable with metal chairs and tables typical of many delis. The food is displayed on the counter, making it easy for customers to take their pick. The dessert counter will definitely make your mouth salivate while the pizza corner offers more than 20 varieties.
Their Spit Roasted Chicken is a crowd favourite. Well-seasoned and perfectly roasted inside and out, the skin is flavourful and slightly crunchy while the meat is tender and fresh. That together with the thick gravy makes for a satisfying meal. You can also select two side dishes to go with your chicken. Do also sample their Mushroom Lasagna, rich with layers of melted and slightly charred cheese. There is an ample amount of various kinds of mushrooms along with delectably creamy sauce.
For something lighter, do give
their Panzanella Bread Salad a try, consisting of tomatoes, capers and capsicum
garnished with basil, garlic and anchovies. The dressing carries a slightly
acerbic tinge while the bread that accompanies it is soaked in aromatic vinegar
olive oil. The Roasted Pumpkin is also delicious, filled with a light smokey
taste and slightly crispy. Even the slightly charred skin is edible!
Last but not least, grab one of
their Milkshakes to go with your meal. Their Chunky Monkey is a creamy blend of
milk, vanilla ice cream, banana and chocolate chips. Mary Berry is also a good recommendation,
laden with berries, vanilla ice cream and milk.
