restaurants, Nyonya restaurants, Portuguese fusion, and night market stalls

Tan and Lim Shiew Li) of the famous dessert eatery, Inside Scoop, would make
their Melaka debut with an outlet located right in Jalan Hang Kasturi. No doubt
the duo intend on replicating the success they’ve achieved in the Klang Valley
(with their outlets in Bangsar and Damansara) over in Melaka as well.
As far as the food is concerned,
many of the sweet favourites customers are familiar with from the Klang Valley
outlets are also served in the Jalan Hang Kasturi outlet. Some of these include
ice creams such as the Valrhona chocolate ice-cream, pistachio, peanut butter
cup, alcoholic flavours such as rum & raisin, smoked XO, XO cranberry, ,
and local favourites like durian, cendol and jackfruit. Other favourites at
Inside Scoop include the selection of waffles here such as the charcoal waffle,
the tradition Belgian waffle, and a few others. What makes the outlet in Jalan
Hang Kasturi stand out is their salted egg yolk waffle on top of a charcoal
waffle, which stays true to the flavours of Melaka whilst sticking to the
dessert formula that’s made Inside Scoop a household name.
