One question people often ask themselves is: “Where should we eat,” or “what should we eat?” Well, if you are in Kuantan and is in search of a nice restaurant that serves an incredible bowl of noodle during lunch hours, you’re in luck! Jess Café at Star City Kuantan had been one of the highly preferred spot for locals as they serve one of the best Curry Yong Tau Foo Noodles.
The Yong Tau Foo that they serve is not only large in terms of size, but it is also tasteful. The juicy meat of the Yong Tau Foo packed with a large bowl of Curry Noodles will leave a tantalizing taste in your mouth that would just make you come back for more.
One bowl of Yong Tau Foo Curry Noodle cost around RM8.70, but locals were more than willing to pay for such a price because it is just that worth it. Jess Café had been around for many years, and they have been serving their dishes to many customers during lunch hours. If you’re looking to dine in during lunch, make sure you come earlier, or you’ll end up waiting around for a seat.
Other than the delicious Yong Tau Foo, they also serve other dishes such as rice, drinks and desserts. But among those, one of the dishes that should be mentioned is the Japanese Style Seafood Pancake. Why? Because not only is this dish affordable, it is also really delicious. Served with a crispy exterior, the first bite will leave you wanting for more. While the outside is crunchy, the inside is soft of it melts around your tongue along with the mayonnaise that they drizzle onto the top of the pancake.
But wait, there's more! The Buttermilk Pork/Chicken Cutlet is also another mouth-watering dish that some of us can never get enough of! The meat is tender and the skin is crispy, and the buttermilk sauce is sweet and creamy with the aromatic smell of butter, the combination of the pork/chicken cutlet with the sauce is a matchmake made in heaven.
Needless to say, after having such spicy and unforgettable food, they also serve with drinks and desserts to further satisfy your cravings. They serve drinks such as Cham Ice, Kopi O, and other fruit juices. As for their desserts, they have bowls of shaved iced such as Red Bean Ice, and ABC.
Overall, Jess Café is definitely a place you should visit if you’re ever in Kuantan.
