Every one or every community, in that sense, has
a usual place where the folks will go to every morning for breakfast or brunch.
It does not matter actually, what type of food is served there. Be it, dim sum
or bak kut teh or even the usual hawker center, there is that one place which
happens to be crowded every single morning. So, going to a place like this is
definitely not the best thing to do if you are alone, after all, the people you
go with does add up to the experience – close buddies, family members, who
ever.
Situated in Petaling Jaya, or more specifically
in Taman Megah, opposite of the fairly popular food court of Ming Tien, this
restaurant is what one would call a typical Chinese restaurant. Being one, you
should definitely plan ahead if you want to come here as the place is usually
full of people, especially during the peak hours on weekends. Being in Taman
Megah also does not help, traffic usually is quite busy and so you can guess
that parking spots are hard to come by as well.
In terms of the ambience, it can be quite busy,
however, the cosy and simple restaurant provides customers with a slight sense
of home with its traditional flavours of dim sum. Also, it shields customers
from the hustle and bustle of the outside pretty well. The place is manned by
friendly and helpful staff you would happily guide you through if you happen to
be stuck when choosing from their menu. Specialising in dim sum, there is not
much to describe here as the usuals are all served here.
