Located in Bay Avenue, Bayan Lepas of Penang, locals are now able to lavish themselves in a classy Japanese restaurant called Kizuna that’s all about the fresh Sashimi, sushi and many more. Kizuna is all about having the food quality and their fresh seafood to ensure that the meals served are always the top quality. With that said, Kizuna is totally open to constructive criticism and feedback from their customers. A restaurant that’s humble and brings good Japanese food to you.
A large sign is placed right above the restaurant with bright yellow letterings that you can’t miss. Parking is available but may be slightly difficult to find if on a weekday during lunch period. The restaurant is kept rather small and slightly tight spacing but furniture is arranged in a way where there’s enough room to move about for the waiters but gap wise it may be rather close to each other. A beautiful romantic setting and warm lightings inside the restaurant. However, the place is quite small and the service will be slow if it is full house.
Kizuna’s menu features a variety of Japanese food such as fresh Sashimi and tuna. However, their signature dishes would be their signature bento sets. Also the ever popular Chicken Katsu Kare Rice and the Kimuchi Nabeyaki Ramen soup are worth a try. And as in all Japanese restaurants order a cup of warm or cold green tea to burn those extra calories. Green tea is best served warm but depending on customer’s preference.
