Malaysia’s very first authentic Spanish Tapas bar has finally arrived in the corners of Empire Shopping Gallery, Subang Jaya. La Bodega fashions a classic interpretation of its other outlets with distinguished accents of terracotta tiles, deep reds and rich yellows all together with dark stained timber, artwork, dimmed lighting, and the renowned montage of black and white photographic pictures of Spain in the 50s as well as the suspended wine rack. The restaurant bar serves an array list of authentic Spanish cuisine and signature “tapas” in its menu.
At La Bodega, there is more than just one option for your big breakfast meal. Set your day with their Bodega’s Big Breakfast made of farm fresh eggs, breakfast chicken sausage, beef bacon, grilled tomato, baked beans, hash brown, sautéed mushrooms and a slice of toast. Meanwhile, their Spanish Breakfast is with potato confit, asparagus, turkey chorizo and their English Breakfast with Spanish turkey ham. Other signature dishes range from risotto, Paella and Fideua, mains, soups and salads, burgers, pasta and sandwiches.
La Bodega is well-recognized for their signature tapas dishes of Pulpo A La Gallega which is Spanish octopus serves with mashed potatoes and Spanish paprika, Patatas Bravas potatoes in spicy tomato sauce and garlic mayonnaise, Calamares Fritos crispy squid rings with milk alioli, Yakitori Pico De Gallo spicy chicken skewers with chopped tomato, onion and capsicum and many others.
Do not proceed to leaving just yet before trying out their authentic Spanish desserts such as crepes, Torrija which is fried bread soaked in milk served with vanilla ice cream, Flan De Huevo a Spanish crème caramel, La Bodega Sweet Tour which consists of Volcan de chocolate, cheese pudding, torrija with crema catalane sauce and Crema Catalana the Spanish version of crème brulee.
