Peter's Pork Noodles Kuala Lumpur

Located in Money's Corner Food Court is Peter's Pork Noodles, a food stall dedicated to all things pork noodles. The stall is the brainchild of Mr. Peter Tay, who had been working a number of odd jobs in Taiping before he finally took off to Kuala Lumpur in 1978 to help out a friend who was running a pork noodle stall in the city. He did so for 17 years until his friend decided to retire, by which time Peter took it upon himself to run the stall all on his own. Since then, Peter's Pork Noodles has become a household name amongst fans of the delicacy in Kuala Lumpur, which has even led him to open up an additional stall in Brickfields that's currently being run by his son.

As far as his bowl of porcine goodness is concerned, you get to choose the variety of noodle used, be it koay teow, yellow noodle, meehun, or mee suah. The broth used is a clear broth, redolent of pork bones, minced pork, pork slices, pork lard and pork liver. The bowl is then topped off with a raw egg at the very last moment to obtain the runny yoke. There are also a number of leafy vegetables that are added to this bowl of pork noodles to give it some much needed freshness to help cut through some of the richness in the dish.

So if you're looking to try what is undoubtedly one of the best bowls of pork noodles to be had in Kuala Lumpur, do head over to Peter's Pork Noodles and you will likely not be disappointed.
