Dim Sum. When it comes to those two words, say
your friends mention them to you, what would be the first thing that pops up in
that mind of yours? Is it the fact that places that sell this are usually
crowded? Or the simple fact of just enjoying a Chinese traditional cuisine? Or
maybe even a place for you to go have breakfast or brunch at because you are
just tired of thinking where to go? Well, whatever it is, dim sum lives deep
within the roots of the Chinese community and has been enjoyed as a delicacy in
many parts of the world, also, it has since expanded outwards and to other
communities.
Situated in Petaling Jaya, or more specifically,
SS2, this Chinese restaurant is what one would call a typical, well, Chinese
restaurant. The look and feel matches most Chinese restaurants. The traditional
typical interior, which includes the usual plastic tables and chairs dominates
the place. The same can be said on the outside, if you just happen to stumble
upon the restaurant, you may probably take a while to realise that this place
actually does sell dim sum (to the inexperienced eyes of course).
However, it is recommended to plan ahead if you
actually think of coming here as the restaurant is usually most of the time
packed, even more during peak hours. So much so that they even set up seats on
the outside of the restaurant – the car parking area. Of course, dim sum is
quite a general term, and this place does serve them all.
