With her skills in culinary, she decided to start her own F&B business called Mahkota Briyani. Since her main aim was to introduce and make Johor cuisine accessible for KL people, all sorts of mouth-watering Johorian delicacies are available on the menu.

 

Their Lamb Briyani Gam is one of the recommended dishes at Mahkota Briyani. Especially after being featured in Jalan Jalan Cari Makan (JJCM) just last year, the restaurant started flooding with diners almost any time of the day. Asam Pedas Ikan Pari, Laksa Johor and Fried Lamb are also listed as the bestselling dishes. You might be wondering what makes them special compared to other restaurants, well the uniqueness lies in the ingredients and recipes used. The 55 years old business women takes all the recipes from her hometown in order to served her customers only the best and authentic dishes. Fun fact: she also adds some secret ingredients in her cooking to make it extra special.

 

Although there’s no desserts available on the menu, you can still indulge in delicious and refreshing drinks like the Mahkota Soda Herbs and Sirap Bandung Soda. These two are must-try beverages and has been requested by many of their loyal customers.
