Restoran Nyonya Sayang is not your usual nyonya
dining establishment that you would expect. The spirit was built around a
classic restaurant design, with dark brown wooden walls which adds up to the classic
and traditional ambience. Being a place like this, one can expect heavy traffic
during their operating hours. They open in the morning for breakfast, brunch
and lunch as well as in the night for dinner and supper, with a lunch break in
between, for them, of course.
Tucked away amidst the busy township of central
Malacca and a stones’ throw away from Mahkota Parade. Being in a place like
this, do be wary for parking spaces should you decide to visit this place for a
meal. Upon stepping inside the restaurant, do expect to be greeted by ultimate
friendly waiters and waitresses with the widest of smiles and most sincere of
greetings, also happy to assist you through their wide range of food and
beverages from their menu. Also,
speaking about the menu, it may differ depending on the time of the day, so do
hit them up if necessary to make sure that what you are looking for is
available at the time of your planned visit. Among their dishes to ty includes,
the Udang Masak Lemak Nanas which is made of prawns with slices of pineapple in
spicy coconut milk gravy. Others includes their Ayam Pong Teh which is chicken
braised with preserved soy bean paste, mushroom and yam and Ikan Goreng Cili. A
range of other nyonya dishes are also worth trying, do ask the waiter or
waitress for more information.
