The casual yet edgy Yakiniku restaurant located at Pavillion brings a brand new concept dining “restaurantainment” to their diners by mixing authentic Japanese yakiniku dining with modern entertainment. Rocku Yakiniku is designed to have an edgy ambience with the dark pine dining tables and chairs paired with manga pages wallpaper and a wall that features a mural of cartoon Samurai drawn on the wall. The decorations directly enhances the whole vibe of the interior with a hint of Japanese pop culture. The other part of the restaurant is designed with sake bottles hanging from the ceilings that defines the authentic Yakiniku joints. At the center of the restaurant is where performances such as music, magic shows and game shows are carried out to entertain the customers while dining.

A platter that includes seafood, beef, pork, lamb and chicken is usually served for the first round depending on the amount of guests on the table.  However, do give the staffs a heads up if there is any food that you do not consume and they will arrange accordingly. The next rounds of refills are ordered through a leaflet where customers state the portions and types of meat that they desire. Their seafood and beaf cuts that are imported from Australia and New Zealand are definitely a must try that is recommended by many.

Pre-cooked dishes and side dishes like salad, fried rice, noodles and more are available at the hot food bar to fill up your tummy while waiting for the meat to grill on the charcoal stove. Rocku Yakiniku also serves sake and beer which would be perfect for those who are always up for a drink or for those who are celebrating a special occasion.

Do take note that although their lunch and dinner buffets offers the same menu but they are priced differently. Every table is to dine for 100minutes but you can get additional time of 20minutes by adding RM9.90. All in all, Rocku Yakiniku is pretty affordable in terms of dining places in that area considering that it is in buffet style.
