Starview Restaurant is a Chinese restaurant in Penang. In the early days, this restaurant used to be located along Burmah Road. Since then, they have moved to New World Park and are currently located in Dato Keramat Road (since late 2015). Starview Restaurant has been a popular mainstay in Penang since the year 1979 when it comes to Chinese food. Its popularity has led it to be incredibly busy for most days, requiring potential customers to book a reservation in order to even have the chance to dine there.
One of the items that are perennial favourites with long-time customers is their signature Peking Duck ala Starview, which is served together with a plate of egg wrappings. The specialty of this dish lies in the eating method, where all four of the ingredients of the peking duck dish (i.e. duck meat, jellyfish, duck skin, prawn crackers) are wrapped in the egg wrappers and consumed in one bite.
