Currently nestled in the residential area in Ipoh Garden East, you would discover a hidden gem often overshadowed by Citrus Wine and Dine. Tammy’s Kitchen, a humble not-your-usual café is often easy to miss with just a simple signage at the front. Nevertheless, it does not stop the increase of numbers when it comes to their food as they serve the wonders of mostly Western with some hint of local favourites.

Proclaimed that they only use the natural of ingredients in preparing their dishes, you can certainly guarantee yourself a healthy goodness from each and every bite. One of Tammy’s signature preparations are her quiches and pies and many have endorsed them as the best in town. Well, most of the patrons have been frequent visitors to Tammy’s Kitchen because of them. The presentation itself is already a sight to behold as you will get a freshly sliced piece of quiche with chunks of meat baked together with fresh mushrooms and beaten eggs. Beside it is a handful of salad covered with homemade Balsamic sauce that will make you want more. The types of quiches that you may want to check off your list would be the Smoked Salmon, Ham and Sausage or the Turkey Ham.

Other than the pastries available, they also have great Western main courses like pastas or the chicken chop. Tammy’s Kitchen is always having promotions on their set lunches where you can treat yourself to a soup, a main course and a drink. If you opt for rice, there is the Assam Seafood Rice. The combination is so delicious you would want to eat in proportions so they are evenly accompanied. Heads up for their weekend-only special on the Chicken Lasagna as it is often sold out. You can book your share by just making a phone call.

Never forget her lavish range of cakes like the Tiramisu, the banana and chocolate cake or opt for a blueberry muffins. If you love it and wish to have a whole, you can pre-order the cakes but it has to be done three days in advance.

Above all, you will see Tammy herself in person working her magic throughout the whole place without the smile leaving her face. Patrons feel a gush of homey feeling while dining and will surely have you grinning from ear-to-ear when you leave.
