Vintry, a place located next to the Liu Men Melaka, an elegant boutique hotel sporting a generous mix of heritage and contemporary designs.
Vintry is known for their take on local Chinese dishes such as Hokkien mee, roast pork, salted egg fried chicken & other small bites. Their recommended signature dishes would be the Vintry Hokkien Mee and the Claypot ‘Mouse Tails’. Vintry Hokkien Mee is served with a generous serving of pork croutons which enhances each bite of the dish. They also include tiger prawns and pork belly that would leave you drooling!
The Claypot ‘Mouse Tail’, is Vintry’s take on iconic Chinese comfort food. The noodle dish is cooked and served in a claypot with minced pork & prawns. The claypot cooking method locks in the rich flavour of the food. As a final topping, a duck egg is cracked on top of the dish and allows it to be cooked in front of our eyes. Mixing the egg with the noodles, it created a storm of flavour which was rich and tasty!
While Asian dishes are their speciality, Vintry also has a selection of western-inspired dishes such as Pork Ribs, Pastas and Fish & Chips. Something we liked a lot was that they also have Sausage & Cheese sharing platters which give a fancy touch when with a group of friends.
