Finding a Vietnamese Restaurant in city centre or Klang
Valley area is a bit daunting in reality although Vietnamese cuisines are only
tad bit different from Malaysian cuisine and at most part more or less both are
quite similar. Considering our timeline is granted within the millennium
century, perhaps finding a good Vietnamese food will not cost a trouble at all
in the near future. In the mean time, Ythu Wendy Restaurant could be said as one
of the few Vietnamese restaurants around city centre that offers authentic
Vietnamese delicacies.
Situated in Avenue K Shopping Centre, interestingly Ythu Wendy is not exactly a restaurant space of its own but considered as one of the many stalls that Taste Enclave high-end food court houses. Taste Enclave is alike of the few food courts that offer selections of delectable cuisines with four restaurants in it such as Xi Qing Seafood Restaurant, Grandeur Tepanyakki, and many more. Ythu Wendy on the other hand occupied one space stall at Taste Enclave but the menu this place offers is extensive enough for one to be baffled on what to order and it is all thanks to Madam Wendy Nguyen, the co founder of this establishment. Her expertise in authentic Vietnamese dishes is churned throughout the 20 years of her living in Singapore where the first Y Thu Wendy located in Orchard Rd, making it her first brainchild in a form of a restaurant. Ranging from the ever-classic Pho dish, Popiah, to Rice with Chicken Chop and even Pork Chop, Madam Wendy sure knows how to get around Malaysians with her expertise.
