Located at USJ Taipan, Restoran Warisan
Sambal Opah has been around for quite some time and known for serving one of
the best Nasi Lemak in Subang Jaya. As the name indicates, ‘Opah’ stands for ‘grandma’
in Malay and we all know that grandma’s cooking is the best in the world. Apparently
the sambal served here are made using their opah’s recipe that was passed down
from generation to generation. This explains why the place is always swarming with
customers since evening to late night.
Self-service is the system applied here.
All you need to do is stand in line in a long queue to get your hands on the
nasi lemak that comes along with a boiled egg for only RM1. If you would like
to add-on other delicious side dishes, you can move over to the next section and select your favourite local delights to complement the creamy
coconut rice. Fried chicken, sambal squid, shellfish, meat are among the
available delicacies that you can opt. However, the nasi lemak is already tasty on its own without any additional side dishes.
Due to their small sized portion, patrons usually will go for more than a package of coconut rice. Among the crowds’ favourite picks are the Nasi Lemak Ayam, Nasi Lemak Sotong, Nasi Lemak Kerang, Nasi Lemak Udang and many other options. The satay offered here is also a must-try. Not only do they serve yummy Malay cuisine, but the price that comes with it is also very affordable. Whether you are here to watch a football match, or to simply fulfil your late night cravings, Restoran Warisan Sambal Opah is definitely worth a visit.
