28 Fireplace
Cheesecakes are a common favourite, especially with the recent growth in fusion recipes. Here in 28 Fireplace, you get to enjoy a piece of Figs and Dates Cheesecake, which might sound peculiar at first, but tastes full of decadence and heavenly flavours. Tossed on the top are also speckles of coconut flakes, giving the cake an utmost fragrant taste too.

Charlie's Cafe
Unlike most cafes that sticks to 1 or 2 types of cheesecakes, Charlie's Cafe loves to experiment with more. With the current durian season, they've came up with their version of durian cheesecake. On the other hand, they also offer the standard cheesecake. In any way, the cake was not only rich and packed with flavour, but velvety smooth as well. *Do try out their durian swiss roll!More infoCharlie's Cafe View restaurant

The Tokyo restaurant
6th Avenue Cheesecake something that will spoil you rotten! Too delicious to even resist and miss whenever you stop by iSetan. A slice of cheesecake with a dollop of whipped cream taste just incredible especially when it is melting in your mouth. AHH! Very creamy, moist and perfectly caramelized slice of cheesecake, one would never be enough for you. This deserves thumbs up and I would buy more again.

Purple Monkey is runs an online store that supplies and delivery cheesecakes. Unfortunately, they do not own any café or outlet in which you can purchase a slice of cake per visit as they sell in whole. Hence, the price. The menu however, is limited to only 8 options at the moment – which isn’t a bad thing. Quality over quantity any day! Though the topping may vary in terms of freshness and sweetness of fruits, the layer of cheese itself was good. Smooth, creamy and consistent, not to mention rich in flavour as well.

Nosh has been well received over the months from various Instagramers, bloggers and fellow food enthusiasts for its sweet and beautifully-presented desserts. Much like the Mango & Kafir Lime Cheesecake, it was beautifully plated with a sense of depth and dimension. Taste wise, the cheese itself was slightly heavy but went in harmony with the Kafir Lime – which makes it a balanced plate of cheesecake.

Ploy
“Don’t Ploy Ploy” would’ve been a great slogan for their restaurant in reference to Phua Chu Kang the Singaporean series. Aside from their interesting play on Thai-fusion, they also offer quite a remarkable Oreo cheesecake. Layered beautifully with their individual purposes and well plated. Truly a gorgeous plate of Oreo Cheesecake.More infoPLOY View restaurant

Tray Cafe
We’ve had plenty of cheesecake. From the classic American cheesecake to raspberry cheesecake and sometimes even flavoured cheesecake. However, this is the first for us, Nutty Salted Caramel Cheesecake. The nuts that were coated with a salted caramel glazed was not only crunchy, but relatively soft and easy to chew. The cheesecake itself is dense, but not overly heavy or rich – just nice to compliment the sweetness of the caramel. Lovely flavour, good portion and absolutely delicious nuts!More infoTray Cafe View restaurant

Ril’s Bangsar
Ril’s Bangsar – A casual fine dining steakhouse, has gained quite a stir on their air-flown Angus steak and various other beefy goodness. However, weird is it not? Mixing mango, ginger and cheese together. One would expect them to at least be sensible with their choice of mixing ingredients. However, we were stunned by how well the ingredients work with each other. Though may be a little hard to accept, it was pretty good. The slight spiciness from the ginger, the tanginess from the mango and the richness and flavour from the cheese all worked hand in hand to accomplish a harmonious conclusion.More infoRil’s Bangsar View restaurant

Coffee Societe
Popular for its RM10 – Free Flow Coffee, Coffee Societe has become a point of interest for coffee enthusiasts. Despite it being free flowed, the quality, taste and craftsmanship of latte art was indeed promising. With a good cup of coffee, there is a definite need for a good serving of cake. In this case, their raspberry cheesecake! Beautifully done in the middle with a sweet and tangy top. However, the biscuit crust at the bottom was a little thick but nevertheless, it was good.More infoCoffee Societe View restaurant

Einstein Cafe
We’re pretty sure the Tau Fu Fa Cheesecake has been spawning around various cafes – Einstein Cafe being one of them. Regardless, it was pretty good as it was served with a cup of ginger syrup (not that we enjoyed the syrup but we’re sure many do). This version is also slightly more cheesy than it is “soy bean-ish”. A nice dessert to end the meal with.More infoRelated articles you might like
