Exhibit Cafe
Exhibit Cafe will at first glance seem like a Scandinavian and Japanese influenced restaurant but it’s Malaysian fusion at it’s best. This relaxing cafe serves quality ingredients and do not put MSG in their cooking. Their chicken chop is unique by serving 2 buns instead of potatoes and a side of romaine lettuce. The gravy is also very light compared to the usual ladle of thick gravy at most other joints. This is definitely an exhibit to experience!More infoExhibit Cafe View restaurant

Looking for another place to indulge in sinful delights in the middle of the night? Well then, why not pay Pekan Station a visit? Though it's not exactly a restaurant, this humble stall do whip out some pretty delicious chunks of meat. Think of every guilty and fattening dish, and have some of them merge together - like the spaghetti with lamb chop or steak. Similarly, everything that you'll find here is either rich or savoury and at most times, it's both. The signature chicken chop is done with incredibly crusty while still retaining a good amount of moisture within. The additional black pepper sauce gives it that added kick and the salad, bun, and fries on the side are pretty good too.

This restaurant is more of a local neighborhood restaurant with a fancy and inviting name. Restoran Westerns Cafe
If you are in the mood for something meaty and well, 'western', then Restoran Westerns Cafe (such a generic name) might just be the place for you. They have everything, from lamb chops to steaks, and chicken chops to a wide range of sides, everything here is made to the extreme. By that we meant the amount of sauce, portion size and even the price! One serving could easily feed 2 pax, while the sauce is sufficient for twice the amount of meat provided. It is slightly saltier than most, but still great tasting in many ways. Last but not least, it's pretty affordable too!

Alanna's Kitchen
Alanna's Kitchen is definitely a place you'll have to visit. It's small but cozy, with the ability to fit a considerable amount of customers within. They emphasize on a few things - freshness of ingredients, method of cooking and of course, service. These principles are reflected on their dish, which of course includes the grilled chicken chop. Beautifully cooked till tender and juicy perfection, seasoned lightly; just enough to bring out the natural flavours of the chicken, and served with either black pepper or brown sauce. Not forgetting a decent portion of fries and salad as well! Well-flavoured, perfectly cooked chicken and a service you will return for!

Swee Hainanese Western Grill
If you are looking for a fancy place to dine, then you might want to give this place a pass. Swee Hainanese Western Grill is located in a coffee shop, which relates back to the lack of cleanliness and service. However, you'll be glad to know that most dishes are done quite nicely, and guaranteed to get rid of your cravings. The portion of the chicken is huge and the crust is fairly crispy - though after leaving it on for some time it tends to get soggy really quick. Served with a side of mash and corn, Swee Hainanese Western Grill is another place you can consider.

View in Google Maps Arch Cafe
Arch Cafe is a pretty good looking cafe, with a blend from the old and new. Located in downtown KL, Arch Cafe offers all the classics you'll find. There are 2 variants to the chicken chop - either grilled or Hainanese. If you are more inclined towards a punch of flavours, go for the grilled as it is topped with black pepper sauce. The Hainanese variant on the other hand, is a lot milder and light in comparison. Though not to worry, it still packs in quite a decent amount of flavour. Both comes with a side of fries and salad, as well as 1 toast.

Yes, for RM4.90, you'll get a whole chicken thigh fried to crispy perfection with breadcrumbs, a side of fries, coleslaw and a generous amount of black pepper sauce! How awesome is that? That's even cheaper than eating economy-rice, and here we are talking about a whole piece of chicken. Fiske Steakhouse
Fiske Steakhouse is fairly popular for their range of lamb dishes. Almost everyone who comes through the door will certainly order 1 dish that is lamb-related. Not that it is bad, but rather quite surprising. Anyway, despite being really popular with their lamb dishes, the chicken chop too deserves a bit of recognition. It's a simple concoction of chicken thigh fried to crispy perfection with breadcrumbs, a generous amount of brown or black pepper sauce, criss-cut fries and of course, a side of salad to make it less sinful. All and all, it's a simple dish, but done quite nicely.

Murni Discovery
Murni Discovery is what most would consider as an encyclopedia of comfort and sinful food. Anyone who goes to Murni in the middle of the night is either starving or craving - sometimes even both. They offer monstrous dishes such as chicken chop with spaghetti, lamb chop with rice or even their signature claypot 'lou shi fun'. The size of their menu is huge, as well as their portion. The best part about them, it's incredibly affordable! For the chicken chop, there are several variants, but the most popular is still the ridiculous one with spaghetti. Lots of flavour (black pepper) and the ultimate guilt for a midnight snack!
