The name Hilton is synonymous with luxury and indulgence and it is no less here in Malaysia. Hilton KL has been around for some time and as usual, hotels would have restaurants to cater to the needs of their guests. What used to be Senses before has been taken over by Graze, a casual dining establishment that provides a wonderful ambience, paired with the marvellous views of the city of Kuala Lumpur. Serving classic European recipes, Graze took on the road less travelled towards Italian and French cuisines. With the quality and feel at Graze, it’s a relief that one doesn’t have to dress up to enjoy their range of skilfully prepared food.

Some of the dishes here are familiar, hence the name classic, but some others are given a fresh breath of change. A good thing about this establishment is the care and effort that goes into the preparation of the food. From appetisers like the Steak Tartar and the Pissaladiere Tart, to the Wall of Imported Cheese to Graze Chocolate Tart for dessert, it is a joyful experience at Graze. The fresh and flavourful tartar is served with hand cut fries, onion jam, and toasted sour dough bread, while the onion tart is a Southern French classic with olives and anchovies with a perfect crispy crust.

The mains at Graze still maintain that French-Italian feel like its shellfish and fish stew. Named Bouillabaisse, Sea Bream, Snapper & Lobster with Toasted Baguette and Rouille, the rich taste goes for as long as the name. The base of the stew is a 5 hour long fish stock making, and then combine together resulting in the perfection that is the seafood ragout. Another worthy mention is the priciest, Prime Rib Steak that is understandably self explanatory.
