B’wiched is a sandwich shop in Publika under the
management of Ben’s Independent Grocer (BIG). The convenience of having a
sandwich place inside of a grocery store is that one could multi-task to get
some shopping done and grab a bite along the way.
Although promoted as a
sandwich shop, B’wiched also offers a range of bread and pastries as well as
cakes, macaroons, cupcakes and many more. The thing that got heads turning and interested is how B’wiched
market their sandwiches. Say goodbye to normal sandwich names and make way to
pun-ny names with a celebrity twist. There are ten sandwich options here with
names like Meat Jagger, Jon Banh Jovi, Shia La Beef, and Rueben Stiller. Meat
Jagger is a sandwich of toasted garlic butter baguette filled with beef
meatball with coriander and melted mozzarella.
The Shia La Beef is an excitingly
fulfilling combo of tender beef strip loin served on a toasted baguette with
caramelized onion, arugula, and capers, and topped with dijonaise. The Rueben
Stiller is slightly smaller than the other two but equally as satisfying with
its salt-beef brisket with Russian dressing in a grilled melted cheddar cheese
toastie. Then there’s Jon Banh Jovi, a trial by B’wiched at the popular
Vietnamese dish. The sandwich consists of succulent poached chicken breast and
turkey ham with pickled carrots and onions, cucumbers and red chillies, and
drizzled with a special Nuoc Nam sauce all packed in between a toasted
baguette.
Complete your experience with the combo Meal Patrick
Harris that includes nachos, side salad and a drink with any sandwich of your
choice. Other options also include the likes of Salmon Hayek, Tuna Turner,
Marilyn Mayoe, and the vegetarian Christina Arugula.
