Bread LoungeCertified
halalAs most of you might've already guessed, Bread Lounge is a place for pastry and bakeries. In that, they too have several delicious variants of croissants that many might not even think of doing. Apart from the standard layered and flaky croissant, Bread Lounge also offer a turkey roll croissant and a sausage chorizo croissant, both of which are absolutely delicious. Giving that added depth of flavour and savoury finish - lovely!

Both their Butter and Wholemeal Croissant are among their trays of fresh pastries that fills your olfactory senses with elating vibes. These delights open up to a soft, laminated, and flaky texture that makes you wish your pillow was as comfortable too. For those who prefer a classical way of enjoying the French pastry, the Butter Croissant will do you good; while those who loves a whiff of nutty nuances, the Wholemeal Croissant is your way to go. Yeast Bistronomy
This boulangerie/bistro/bar created a sandstorm in the Malaysian food scene almost immediately when it first opened in year 2012. Its credibility is proven legitimate with its amazing array of French pastries and continuous queues for them. Besides the boulangerie, Yeast also has an open-kitchen concept in the small space – allowing patrons to watch magic unfold in the form of delicious French dishes for brunch, lunch and dinner. Yeast has made such remarkable success that they have opened a bigger branch in Mid Valley as well as an Italian sister-restaurant, Fatto A Mano, right next to the original branch in Bangsar Telawi. Yeast also serves readymade croissant sandwiches such as with turkey ham & gruyere cheese, for a more filling alternative.More infoYeast Bistronomy View restaurant

Our Daily Bread
This bakery first opened in October 2011 with a promise to provide freshly baked bread and pastry every single day. While Kuala Lumpur has its fair share of reliable bakeries, Our Daily Bread stands out even more with its beautifully crafted end-linked croissants. The croissants here are not only buttery and soft but fresh and affordable too. While the bakery is more known for its difficult-to-find-in-Malaysia whoopie pies and traditional Nyonya pineapple tarts, it is evident that the bakery takes baking very seriously.More infoOur Daily Bread View restaurant

The Loaf Bakery & Bistro
This bakery cum bistro first attracted the attention of many from its founder, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamed who simply wanted to have good Japanese bread in Malaysia. Thus, The Loaf was born as a Japanese-inspired bakery to cater to fellow Malaysians. By utilizing traditional Japanese techniques, most of The Loaf’s offerings are Japanese recipes. Over time, the bakery began instilling Malaysian tastes into its Japanese-styled bread as well such as the Rendang Chicken oyaki. While the bakery has Asian roots, the croissants here are still brilliantly baked with the finest quality and chemical-free ingredients.More infoThe Loaf Bakery & Bistro View restaurant

B-Lab
B-Lab is a bar, bistro and bakery founded by Grand Chef Yukichi Matsubara whom used to be behind The Loaf. Unlike the roots of Matsubara and The Loaf which is Japanese inspired, B-Lab’s bakery is ironically more European-inspired. B-Lab also serves Japanese cakes as Chef Shigeru Hashizume is in charge of pastries while Chef Fun is the bakery chef. While the place is not even one year old yet, it holds a bunch of exciting promises for us as Iron Chef Matsubara spices up the bakery and cakes to ensure continuous inventions.More infoB-Lab View restaurant

B’wiched
Another venture of The B.I.G. Group, B’wiched is a quaint café that serves quirky-named hot sandwiches such as Tuna Turner, Christina Arugula and Shia Le Beef. On top of that, B’wiched also has a long counter of baked goods such as baguettes, brioches, scones, danishes and of course, croissants. At first sight, the long array of selections may cause you double visions but upon setting eyes on their croissants, you will definitely be enlightened at how fluffy, fat and beautifully glazed these croissants are which will surely make your mouth water in gluttony.More infoB’wiched View restaurant

Chez Leoniel
Chez Leoniel is what we would consider a hidden gem. Located deep within the fortress of Alliance Francaise KL, Chez Leoniel is a French bakery and cafe, offering fresh pastries, cakes and of course, French cuisine. And like all French bakery, a croissant is a must. Chez Leoniel's version was done beautifully with rich French butter, layered and baked to crispy perfection. It was flaky, soft and full of buttery goodness! Definitely worth the try!More infoChez Leoniel View restaurant

Croissant Delicatessen
At Croissant Delicatessen, there are a number of main course croissant dishes you can choose from, one of them being the Garlic and Basil Chicken Croissant. One thing that becomes very apparent in this dish is how much greenery is in this dish. It comes off as a pleasant surprise since most croissants do not look like this. The reason for this is the sheer generous amount of basil that is in this croissant, which already indicates a meal packed with flavour before the first bite is even taken. Once you do take a bite, it tastes much better than it looks as you will now detect hints of garlic, which couple well with the tender, juicy chicken and the fresh, earthy basil base. This is one croissant you do not want to miss out on.
