One of Malaysian favourite things to have
for a sunny late afternoon “tea time” snack is a delicious plate of mamak rojak
and cendol. In Malaysia, Cendol and Rojak trucks are pretty much everywhere. It
is up to you to choose the right truck, some can be bad and some can be very
good. If you choose Hasan's Rojak & Cendol, then you have made the right decision.
It can be quite easy to find this stall
(truck) due to its location. It is positioned right at the end of a street
junction. Ambience-wise, it is a pretty normal atmosphere for a roadside joint.
Open air, and there are a few plastic chairs next to an open drain. Yes, the
description can be a little unpleasant, but the place is unexpectedly odour-free
and clean. Awesome, right? Not many stalls are very hygienic these days.
One thing you are going to love about this
stall is the fact that it is quick and fuss free despite its long queue. People
are looking forward to their delicious Rojak. The Rojak is served with a thick
sauce which the scent and colour will make it hard for you to resist. You can
also add cuttlefish in your dish if you wish.
When it comes to their Cendol, there is
something different about it that makes it a bit different from other cendol.
They serve Cendol that slightly look like ABC. With oddly enough corn, you will
surely enjoy this sweet evening snack. Although, maybe you wouldn’t like the Styrofoam bowls used to serve
the Cendol. Nevertheless, this clean, quick service, friendly chap, and reasonable
priced rojak and cendol truck is great for whenever you have a fix for rojak and cendol!
