Cendol & Rojak Mustaffa
This neighbourhood roadside truck-stall has grown in popularity passing its PJ radius over the years. Famous for both cendol and rojak, Mustaffa’s cendol has been described by many as “fine, generous and affordable”. With its finely shaved ice, generous amount of ingredients and affordable price, it is no wonder patrons have found themselves lining up and consuming their icy treats even under a scorching sun and limited seats. Who cares about sweating bullets or having backaches from standing when you get to enjoy a delicious delicate bowl of refreshing dessert, right?More infoCendol & Rojak Mustaffa View restaurant

Husan's Rojak & Cendol
This truck is usually stationed near Sea Park’s wet market. While most customers purchase to-go, there are a couple of tables and chairs for those who opt for a quick dine-in. The crowd is usually busy from morning till late afternoon. The ice in Hasan’s cendol appears more flaky and snowflake-like. Just like the other cendols in this list, this stall has its own array of loyal customers who would easily preach that Hasan’s has the “best cendol in PJ”.More infoHasan's Rojak & Cendol View restaurant

Gerai Minum Weng Kee
This little stall in one of the oldest Petaling Jaya food courts is run by an old auntie who has pretty much perfected her Cendol and Ais Kacang for twenty years. Many locals have labelled her No.46 stall in Taman Selera as the “best” cendol and ais kacang in town. Famous for her apparently out-of-this-world Gula Melaka (in which even some Malaccans have claimed that her cendol is better than those in Malacca itself), her ice desserts are served with finely shaved ice that delicately melts on your tongue. Ask anyone who love Weng Kee’s cendol and he/she would tell you that the secret lies in the Gula Melaka and shaved ice.More infoGerai Minum Weng Kee View restaurant

Cendol & Rojak Pasembor Penang
This stall-truck has been in the neighbourhood between Kelana Jaya and Taman Megah off LDP highway for many years and is always, if not almost always packed with patrons. There are limited seats with only a couple of tables; therefore, it is not an uncommon sight to see foodies consuming their treats on two feet. Most patrons are locals from the neighbourhood as the truck is just walking distance from several neighbourhoods in Kelana Jaya, Taman Mayang and Taman Megah. However, there are also many whom deliberately stop by the roadside and illegally park their cars nearby just to get a taste of the cendol that has been dubbed as fragrant and refreshing.More infoCendol & Rojak Pasembor Penang View restaurant

Mr. CendolCertified
halalFounder, En. Wahab Ibrahim first started making cendols in Lumut by the roadside almost 20 years ago. As published by The Star, he was an apprentice for a renowned cendol maker whom eventually left back to India and thus, En. Wahab took over the stall. In 2006, after positive feedbacks and opinions from customers, friends and family, he decided to expand his business and opened his first cendol kiosk in Sitiawan. Since then, he has expanded across state borders and Mr. Cendol has reached Petaling Jaya! Mr. Cendol’s sweets are made with zero preservatives and fresh ingredients. These cendols are especially significant for its cendol strips which are cooked for over an hour with fresh pandan leaves and pucuk manis.More infoMr. Cendol View restaurant

Little MumsCertified
halalHere at Little Mums by Mum’s Place, you can cool down from a hot sunny day with their best seller Cendol with Red beans. Not like any other cendol, this one has just the right amount of sweetness to it. When it comes to cendol, it’s very crucial to add in fresh coconut milk into the dessert, and that is exactly what they did. The quantity of coconut milk poured in the cendol is perfectly measured. Not to forget the red beans that alter the flavour of the dessert wholly. Creamy, sweet, and all the right savour you are looking for in a cendol can be tasted in this heavenly bowl of dessert.

Nyonya Colours
If you are a citygoer, you will be no stranger to this home grown cafe that has been significant in both Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya’s central shopping malls. The hype for Nyonya Colors began almost as soon as the first outlet was established in 2006. Nyonya Colors is not only certified halal but also made without preservatives. Hygiene is also emphasized whereby each kueh is wrapped individually to ensure utmost cleanliness. While Nyonya Colors is particularly known for its traditional homemade kueh, their cendol is equally delightful with fragrant coconut milk and tasteful gula melaka! Today, the café has become one of the most trusted venues for authentic Peranakan cuisine in the Malaysian market.More infoNyonya Colours @ 1 Utama View restaurant

Rojak Utama
This cendol/rojak truck has been around for many years and is parked in front of Brother Peter car workshop (same row as Wondermilk). The cendol here is not only very affordable but also pleasant to our palates with its light but not underwhelming gula melaka and coconut milk. The shaved ice is coarse but under the Malaysian heat, I don’t find that to be a problem as it is refreshing and melts just as quickly as it is served. Therefore, it is best consumed immediately.More infoRojak Utama View restaurant

Cili 8
The cendol served at Cili 8 delivers on the presentation front. The ice forms a mountain that pops out of the coconut milk and palm sugar mix. Atop this mountain lies streaks of gelatinous pandan and red beans. An interesting thing to note is that the cendol is fairly light. The palm sugar does not overwhelm the coconut milk and the ice does a good job of keeping the heaviness of the dessert down. There are also a lot of different textures to be had with the crushed ice and the soft red bean together with the pandan streaks, which further elevates the dish.
