If you’re craving for a fine taste of Loh Mee, head over to Restoran New Sun Ho for its delectable taste of noodles. This restaurant is operated by a lovely middle-aged couple where they both have a systematic flow of cooking the noodles. Located just opposite Overseas Union Garden (OUG) market in KL, Sun Ho’s Loh Mee has been attracting many locals every day.
The Loh Mee stall is placed in the middle of the coffee shop so that it can be easily spotted for customers to order their meals. The restaurant is structured like a typically localised coffee shop. The inside of the restaurant is painted faintly with yellow and green as well as small-tiled flooring. The arrangement of the restaurant are the usual wooden tables and plastic chairs. However, at times, especially on a very hot day the restaurant may get a little stuffy and hot.
Although the ventilation isn’t the best, customers continue to come back for more. Customers can choose different types of noodles for their Loh Mee. Their signature noodle is the ‘Fat Noodle’ where at times can be sold out. Aside from this, the ‘yee mee’ can be another good combination for Loh Mee. Aside, from the mains, Sun Ho’s signature Kopi which is a blend of thick coffee are favoured by many customers. The 3-layer-tea is also another drink that customers favour.
If you feel like trying something else aside from Loh Mee, Sun Ho does offer a variety of fried noodles as well as prawn noodles and pork noodles. These noodles are a must try as they are also a constant delight to the locals.
Tip: Be assured to arrive early as lunch hours are the busiest.
