This restaurant is spacious and cooling as they are air-conditioned,
so customers can have their meals comfortably. The interior is quite
unembellished and plain; however they leave the decorating part to the dishes. They are
open daily except for Tuesdays from 11am to 3pm which is the perfect time for
people to go out and have lunch.
Speaking about lunch, the friendly owner has laid out their
banana leaf rice set which includes the rice, curry, 4 side dishes and papadam,
this costs around RM7.50++. Furthermore, the owner also served us a wide array
of additional dishes for us which includes their signature aviyal, shark fish
putu, seafood masala etc.
Voila! The Banana Leaf Rice set in its full glory! And of course, for the full authentic fantasy, we have to eat with our hands as this also heightens our senses of the meal. Our favourite additional dish was the fluffy shark fish putu, signature aviyal, crunchy fried cauliflower and the spicy seafood masala. Shobana’s Kerala Kitchen is certainly has your back for serving a wholesome meal while spicing up your life.
