Freshly started in January 2018, Tayo Bowl prides themselves as Asian fusion poke bowl joint with the aim to serve fresh,healthy and tasty food at a reasonable price point! Tayo bowl is also the first and only poke bowl joint in Puchong for now so no more running to Subang or Sunway for a bowl of fresh fish and veggies!
The restaurant’s environment speaks for itself on the theme too. It was brightly illuminated by the sunlight through the big windows which gives it a fresh and botanical feel alongside splashes of green plants.
Whenever you visit, be sure to order up a pot of fresh fruit tea to start off your meal! One pot is good for 2 to 3 pax and this orange and apple tea has an aromatic fruity smell to help you wind down and relax before your meal!
Without further ado, let’s jump into the food! We were first served their signature dishes, as per the restaurant’s name suggests. They were all bowl dishes! Most of their bowls consists of servings of rice, various veggies and proteins from nuts and meats.
Like their bowls, the dessert is also customisable. This customized Belgium waffle is topped with two scoops of ice cream! Featuring Creamy strawberry and butterscotch walnut, sprinkled with marshmallows, fresh strawberries and glaze of strawberry!
We were served the Tayo Fluffy Snow Bowl in Mango Vanilla delight. Topped with ice-cream, fresh mangoes, peanuts and drizzled with caramel. This snow bowl is a fluffy cold perfection!
You can also customize your own snow bowls with your favorite flavors too! This customized coconut snow bowl hits home with their coconut base. Topped with corn, almonds and pure mint chip ice cream, drizzled on the chocolate sauce for the ultimate delicious finale!
