When it comes to ribs, one might imagine some fancy dish served on a wooden platter with an ambiance to match the wine and music. Well not this one. This restaurant is focusing on its quality and taste of the food rather than what type of chair to match with the paintings. The dish is must-try! The taste is in between something familiar like those times when granny used to cook while you were young. Perfectly cooked. The home cooked style is so evident in this dish and the ones in the menu too. The owner is from Sabah so try their other Sabah dishes too!

Most have their slabs of ribs placed in front of them to chow down on. But here at Mr. Wolf, they hold on tightly to the idea of sharing, which is passed down onto their dish of ribs. Cooked sous-vide, the honed skills of the chef is well reflected on the savoury flavours and umami sensation of the dish. It’s also cut into pieces, which allows groups of friends and family to share and munch. 

Without a doubt at a first glance, Classic Rebel's pieces of short ribs are winning in its plating and visual wise. Perfectly dubbed on a dark wooden plate, it really brings out the colour glazed of the ribs. Apparently the sweetness of the ribs is done by the tamarind glazed on top of the ribs and perfectly paired together with cranberry orange chutney - sweet and tangy one must say! However, the juiciness cannot be disregarded with its meat well done yet still retains the tenderness. This is definitely a catch.
