The beautiful atmosphere and peaceful surrounding has inspired the owner to start this business. They had the wonderful space that can be transformed into an urban oasis. And that’s when Pokok came alive. Pokok has been operating since October 2018 and it has been a favourite spot for people to spend quality time with their loved ones.
Pokok does not run any promotions as of now but they do
create special menu for particular celebrations like Mother’s Day and Father’s
Day. They are open everyday but their operating hours are different for
Tuesdays. They are open from 9am to 9pm and the kitchen closes at 7pm. Whereas on
Tuesdays, they are open from 9am to 8pm and the kitchen closes at 6pm. Plan
your day ahead to not miss their tempting, well-cooked and delicious food.
Price range for their main dish starts from RM20 to RM35 and for beverages is
from RM10 to RM 15. The portion is fairly large for their affordable price.
The array of menu options are a pure delight. However, you should try their signature dishes (best seller) :
SIGNATURE CHILI PADI PESTO PASTA – you can add RM5 for grilled chicken breast and you can also choose the spiciness level to be mild, spicy or pedas giler. The pasta is cooked until firm, resilient to bite and very tender.
NASI LEMAK BOMB – consists of ayam berempah, beef rendang, kangkung, nasi lemak condiments, and fried egg. The nasi lemak is served in quite a big portion.
AUNTY AILEEN’S NYONYA LAKSA – consist of tiger prawns, tofu puffs in creamy coconut broth. The colour of the broth is highly pleasing. You should be really lucky to taste their laksa as this is their daily limited portions dish.
SMOKED SALMON BENEDICT – consists of two mouth-watering poached eggs, hollandaise sauce and a side of sautéed mushrooms.
POKOK ACAI BOWL – served with soy milk, fresh fruits and seeds. This is one of the most recommended brunch in Pokok.
