Calanthe Art Café is a very popular
restaurant nestled in the midst of Jonker Walk, Melaka. It is famous for its
fun and quirky décor from the entrance all the way to back area. The place is
filled with so many unique decorations and furniture you could ever imagine.
Every corner is occupied with some random vintage décor that can be fit into an

Calanthe Art Café is probably the only place in Melaka offering coffee blends
from all the 13 states of Malaysia. How awesome is that? In line with its
tagline, ‘The First and Only One’, they provide unique blends from all over
Malaysia to give coffee lovers a whole new experience. They have so many
selections of beverage to fit in everyone’s appetite – green tea coffee,
espresso with mint paddy syrup, strawberry smoothies, alcohol based drinks and
many more.
Despite the diverse choices of drinks, you can also find a wide range of local delicacies on the menu. It is said that they serve one of the best laksa in Malaysia. Their version of laksa is filled with fishcake slices, tofu puffs, eggs strips, and fried beancurd skin. NasiLemak served here also have its own twist – golden rice that comes alongside special chicken Rendang. Don’t leave this place before trying their delicious homemade desserts. From cakes to traditional desserts, they have it all such as french toast and brownies. You can also try their sandwiches. This place is certainly not a normal and plain café. With a different take of local delicacies along with quirky interior, you will definitely enjoy your time here.
