Steaks. A Malaysian’s favourite (not all but
many). What is it that pops up in your head when you hear that word? Is it high
quality prime cuts? Or fresh ingredients? Or juicy and tender steaks? Well, in
my opinion, it is all of those and many more. Friendly conversations among
close buddies and girlfriends or bonding time among family members does as well
add up to the experience.
In Malaysia at least, western cuisine is not
something many have it as a meal on a regular basis, usually it caters for
birthday parties, wedding anniversaries, probably a date between a young couple
and special occasions – but don’t get me wrong, many people also do have their
regular meals at western cuisine restaurants. Situated in Kampong Klang Gates
Bharu, or more specifically, Taman Melawati, this restaurant provides customer
with food originating from halal certified suppliers, so to the Muslim
community out there, rest assured.
A step above the rest, Sixty9 Islamic Steakhouse
provides customers with good service and good food. The cosy atmosphere,
spacious interior and large windows gives the restaurant a comfortable ambience
with not too bright but not too dim lighting.
Speaking about the restaurant, do give their
Sixty9 Lamb Burger a go. One burger includes homemade charcoal bun, lamb slices,
mixed salad, cucumber, gherkin, onions, homemade dressing and cheese sauce
served with cheesy savoury lattice potato.
Also, do give the Seafood Aglio Olio a go. With
succulent seafood tossed with olive oil, chopped garlic, onion, chilli flakes,
chopped fresh basil, grated parmesan cheese and spaghetti, it is sure to satisfy
your seafood craving appetite.
