The Delicious cafe in Sunway Pyramid is one of many restaurants owned by The Delicious Group, who are under the management of the Eastern & Oriental Group. Delicious first opened at 1 Utama in 2004. Through word-of-mouth, the group has been able to expand to other areas in the Klang Valley such as Bangsar Village II, Midvalley Megamall, Setia City Mall and St. Mary's Place. Even their menu of only a few items has expanded significantly over time. Interior-wise, it's beautiful with the thematic usage of white and turquoise colours in the furniture and backdrop.
The items in the menu revolve around fresh, home-cooked western and local food. However, more emphasis is placed on the selection of pastas, salads and cakes. Some examples of this are the duck arrabiata, balsamic mushroom salad, and coconut cake with fresh Thai coconut. Other western and local mains include Fish and Chips, as well as Teriyaki Salmon.
The other desserts and drinks available are just as expansive, and is not to be neglected. As far as drinks go, hot drinks like chai latte, honey lemon; fresh juices like apple and/or watermelon. For desserts, pies and sundaes such as banoffee, lemon meringue, and a pineapple, watermelon, passion fruit and lychee sundae.
The one takeaway is that Delicious offers a vast myriad of great western and local dishes that will leave the diner spoilt for choice. With the growing name and reputation of the Delicious group, as well as the various promotions that are available, it would be a good idea to give one of their restaurants a try.
