Spanning close to three decades, this Japanese restaurant has been stacking up reputations as one of the finest places to quell your Japanese cuisine cravings. Housed in Hilton Hotel, the atmosphere is brightly-lid and commodious with modern touches. Among the mainstay on the menu is their signature Cod Teriyaki. The thick and fresh fish is pan-seared to perfection then enrobed with condensed Teriyaki sauce, giving it a glistening visual threat. The sauce has ideal symmetry of sweet and savoury, complementing the flaky fish which sits on a bed of mashed radish, Nameko mushroom and spinach puree. In French cuisine, foie gras signifies luxury, whereas, in Japanese gastronomy, it’s Anger Fish Liver that tops the chart. Despite being the liver, the presentation rather makes it more alluring. The liver is seared to perfection, slithering the little islets are divine and the simmered radish neutralizes any fishy taste. Small in size yet bombards with distinctive flavours.
