Village Park is a Malaysian cuisine restaurant run by a Chinese-Muslim husband and wife. The interior of restaurant has that nostalgic look as most restaurants looked in the older days of Malaysia.
There's not much to say about the restaurant itself but the fact that the restaurant is widely known for their famous Nasi Lemak in Petaling Jaya. It is said that if you were to ask locals of the town where to eat, they are sure to mention Village Park as the locals love going there for their nasi lemak fix. Their nasi lemak comes with different side dishes but their most popular would be their Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng. With the usual ingredients for nasi lemak, the hot steamy coconut rice along side with the usual mildly spicy sambal, egg, fresh cucumbers and of course, the fried chicken. But if you feel adventurous then you are free to try their other nasi lemak dishes.
Their Ayam Goreng (Fried Chicken) which is said to be tender, is also known to be the best in town which is why they would recommend having it with their Nasi Lemak. But if you are not in the mood for their nasi lemak then you can try their Nasi Dagang which may not be their signature dish but it is still a good dish to try according to the locals. And to wash all those dishes down, it is recommended to order their Milo Dinosaur.
