Teh tarik has been our national drink of sorts, where people from all around the world would've seen cartoons or images of it. Directly translated into "pulled tea", the method of preparing teh tarik is by "pulling" it from one cup to another. Hence, you'll find that most teh tarik enthusiasts in mamaks appear to be dancing around during the preparation of this special cup of tea.

They have the standards such as roti telur, roti bom, maggi goreng and nasi lemak, as well as something a little more, well, cholesterol inducing favourites such as the combination of pasta and chicken chop. Technically, if you're looking for any sinful dishes, this would be the place to visit. Now what better way is there for you to enjoy those sinful dishes with if it isn't with a good cup of teh tarik? Frothy, sweet and absolutely delicious, Murni Discovery's teh tarik is definitely one of the best out there.

Village Park
If you have not heard of Village Park, it is one of the most popular places to have a good dose of nasi lemak in PJ. On the other hand, they also provide fried snacks such as cucur udang for tea, as well. As for their drinks, there isn't much to shout about, but their teh tarik is definitely worth a mention. Frothy, bubbly and packed full of flavour, this glass of teh tarik is certainly well worth trying.

Al-Meerasa
Al-Meerasa is rather huge mamak, located right beside Giant at Seapark, Taman Paramount. Offering a range of delectables such as cheese naan, maggi goreng, nasi goreng pattaya and many more, it's easy to see why this place is always packed at night. Apart from all that, they also make a pretty mean teh tarik as well.

Steven's Western Corner
Famous once a upon a time for their cheeky MLM side-schemes, Steven's Corner has pretty much lost its fame ever since. However, apart from that small business issue, the food and drinks here are more than decent. Signature items such as burung puyuh, nasi lemak and cheese naan are some of the locals' favourite, alongside their teh tarik.

Kedai Makanan Raju
Raju's is a great place around PJ for a tasteful set of banana leaf rice. They are also incredibly popular for their range of roti, which is made fresh upon order served with a side of delicious curry of your choice. Having all the basics set, it is no surprise that their teh tarik is absolutely delightful, too. Made with a good heap of froth at just about the right amount of sweetness, their teh tarik is indeed addictive!

The Local by The Gastro Project
The Local by The Gastro Project is a stunning looking, locally-designed place with a good sense of home. Its widely accepted menu of local delights such as nasi lemak, rojak, roti jala, nasi kerabu and many more are well received by plenty of Malaysians. On top of that, their style of teh tarik is well worth a try, too. Done slightly sweeter than usual, the flavours of the tea really comes through the more you sip.
