Siew Pao, another form of pork stuffed bread but instead of it being steamed and fluffy, it's a pastry. Regardless of which, as long as the ratio of pastry dough to pork filling is correct, a good siew pao can be incredibly delicious, and can work for all occasion. Be it for breakfast, watching a movie in a cinema or simply throwing it at someone (because it's quite hard). It's sweet and savoury, while the crust is flaky and soft. All of which contributes to a complete eating experience that most people would enjoy. So here it is, the best siew pao in PJ!

Esquire Kitchen
It is without a doubt that Esquire Kitchen is one of the longest standing Chinese restaurant franchise in Malaysia. The first outlet was opened in Sungei Wang and till this date, it's still alive. That means they're doing something right, or probably many would go for a sense of nostalgia. In any case, apart from its wide range of Chinese cuisine, the snack section too is pretty decent. Like the siew pao, it's nice and flaky on the outside and packed full of marinated pork on the inside. It's also a little crusty so there's that.

Canton-i
Canton-i is another great restaurant if you're seeking for some siew pao. Famed for its simple yet delicious array of Hong Kong comfort foods, Canton-i has been the place to have breakfast for many families. Upon entering the shop, you'll notice by the cashier there is a hot cabinet, one that stores the siew pao, egg tart and several other delicious confectionaries. Its siew pao, despite not being the most popular, is both crusty and flaky on the outside. The filling is also a little bit saltier than most, but due to its ratio, it's pretty good.
