Whether it comes from the North or South of India, or whether its kurma or varuval, people can't get enough of a good plate of mutton curry. This rich, spicy plate of red meat goodness has been generously mixed into our plates of rice and mopped up by chapati and/or naan for a countless number of years; a practice that continues to prevail to this day. So without further delay, here are a few places that have been known to pull off a great serving of mutton curry.

Devi's Corner
The mutton varuval at Devi's Corner certainly stands out from the rest in a few areas. The one area where it does stay true to the varuval recipe is the fact that the mutton is a very rich dark red colour from all the spices. The other thing to note is that there aren't many (if any) boned pieces on the plate. However, a few mutton pieces that are layered with a bit of fat can be found. This adds substantial flavour and texture to the dish, as well as a slight variety in terms of consistency in the pieces.
