Vishalatchi Food CateringCertified
halalVishalatchi Food Catering has been a well known name in Chetinad cuisine in Brickfields for a long time (often confused with their rival, Vishal Food Catering, located three doors away). The first great thing to note about the mutton curry and mutton varuval here is that there aren't any bone pieces, wish makes eating your plate of rice and curry a significantly less tedious process. The consistency is also great to mix well with hot rice. True to Chetinad form, this plate of mutton curry certainly comes with a lot of heat, but not at the expense of great flavour.

Taj Garden
If you're looking for you're mutton curry fix as soon as you arrive at KL Sentral, head on down to Taj Garden Restaurant, which is only 10 minutes away from the station. The north Indian mutton specialty this restaurant serves up is the mutton madras, a much thicker version of its South Indian counter part. This alone suggests that the curry is great to be mopped up by a serving of Rumali bread, naan, chapati. As far as the flavours go, the curry itself is heavily infused with coriander seeds and fennel, which help give it a distinct kick. The tender mutton pieces help to bind all this and elevate the dish even further.
