Weird combination, croissant on your ramen
We’re all wondering what Menya Shi Shi do was cooking when they announced their new limited-edition dish called “Croissant Ramen”, but let’s not judge a book by its cover so quickly. Menya Shi Shi do is known to deliver when it comes to their unusual ramen recipes. Good examples are their matcha ramen, chocolate ramen, bak kut teh ramen, and many more.

Isn’t bread and noodles very filling when put together?
The croissant bread used for this dish is buttery and flaky, pairing it with the creamy tonkatsu soup will satisfy your hunger. The meal should not be heavy, or at least that’s what the folks at Menya Shi Shi do say.
The Black Garlic Curry Soup in the Croissant Ramen Bowl is combined with two slices of Char Siew, and it is topped with Brown Shimeji mushrooms, bean sprouts, cabbage, eggs, and croissants.

Why should I try the croissant ramen?
This recipe may look gimmicky at first, but Menya Shi Shi do make sure that they back it up with quality. The croissant actually adds a new dimension to the dish, giving it a unique texture and flavor that sets it apart from traditional ramen dishes. The croissants are crispy on the outside and soft and buttery on the inside, making for a delicious and satisfying bowl of ramen.
Too weird of a food combination for me, anything normal?
If you don’t dig the weirder ramens, do not worry, as Menya Shi Shi do also serves the normal and tame ramens you’re familiar with, such as Aji Tama Chashu Ramen, Shiro Miso Ramen, Kuro Miso Ramen and Aka Ramen. You can also customize the soup to your liking.
