    Cendol Padang Kilat

    Cendol Padang Kilat is the brainchild of K. Idrus, famous for his traditional Indian version of manually hand-shaved ice cendol for decades. You can find his contemporary stall by the roadside. If you would like to eat it right away, there are a couple of a makeshift wooden cable drum or reel laid out for dining purposes. For sweeth tooth lovers, this may be your cup of tea as he uses a considerable amount of brown sugar syrup. Otherwise, do request for it to be less sweetened.

    Deen CT Corner, occupies a single shoplot at the heart of Ipoh old town. For easy navigation, look out for Kamdar at Ipoh old town. Speaking about experience and confidence, this place has been operating for over 20 years. While “CT” stands for “Cendol Tulen”, rest assured that the cendol here speaks for its originality and deliciousness itself, especially when it comes to its signature Cendol PJK - P for “pulut” (glutinous rice), J for “jagung” (sweet corn) and K for “kacang” (kidney beans). However, this is a self-service eatery. Additional charges may imply for the takeaways.

    Rojak N Cendol Padang Ipoh is an Indian Muslim restaurant that specializes in pasembur and offers a variety of fusion cendol, sufficient for multiple visits. Go bananas with the cendol here, or get an all time favourite exotic durian flavour or even a bite-sized oreo cookies cendol. If you prefer a traditional one, go for its classic cendol.

Other than cendol, it has always been remarkable for its “Wan Tau Long” (yellow jelly). Get that as an additional topping.     Cendol Maju-Maju, also known as Cendol Meru Special. You can find it in front of Almutaqqin Mosque. This cendol truck has been spanning for years and is renowned among the locals. In terms of price, a bowl of authentic cendol is relatively affordable. And if you like more to spice up the basic, there are additional side ingredients such as sweet corn and glutinous rice too.
