Muthu’s Traditional Banana Leaf Restaurant
Among the pillars of Banana Leaf on the island, seeking this hidden gem could be tricky, you’ve got to scour through nooks and little alleys before feasting authentic Indian meals. After patching the pavements, you’ll easily spot patrons congregating this unassuming shop. Live by the common rule, a mound of white rice, scoops of greens and meats or fishes or your choices filling the bright-green leaf. It would be insane not trying their crab curry, which is liberally doused with a great punch of spices that make your tongue twist. They also have crab coated with addictive sambal and crab rasam (thin, very spicy southern Indian soup). You might want to squirrel away some back home, it's irresistible!
