It is without said that myBurgerlab is the throne holder of Malaysian burgers (apart from Ramly, but that's a different category). Anyway, their burgers are good, their fries are excellent. They've also introduced the fried portobello fries, which are large chunks of sliced portobello coated with breadcrust and fried to crispy and juicy perfection. Oh, don't forget that awesome spicy-mayo dip too!

Tony Roma's has been really popular with its ribs and steak, but not many would know that their snacks are pretty good as well. For one, their fried mushroom is done quite nicely, despite it not being popular. Lovely button mushrooms coated in a thick batter with herbs, deep fried till crispy perfection while maintaining a moist and juicy interior - what's not to love? The honey mustard sauce on the side too goes really well with the fried mushrooms.

How to turn a healthy dish upside down? Deep fry the living soul out of it! Organic Express is known for its range of healthy dishes that you will not feel guilty having. However, their fried mushroom with butter sauce does suggest otherwise. With each piece getting a little more addictive than the ones before, soon, the whole plate will be consumed even without you knowing it. Kechara Oasis is from the same foundation and soup kitchen as Kechara, which is a buddhist association that caters for the underprivileged. Amongst many of its vegetarian representation, the fried oyster mushroom is one definitely worth going for. Generous portion of oyster mushrooms coated in a semi-thick batter and fried to crispy perfection. It is then doused with their signature butter sauce, giving it a rich and flavourful taste. All and all, it's the perfect appetizer before commencing a feast.

Oinkz isn't a fancy restaurant where you'll feast on gourmet burgers. In fact, it's the total opposite. This humble stall offers simple yet delicious burgers, along with various sides and drinks. Everything here is pretty straight-forwarded, nothing too fancy. Similarly, their fried mushroom is done with large cuts of oyster mushroom, coated in a thick batter and fried till crispy perfection.
