    Masale Twist

Offering an  remarkable take of Indian food, Masale Twist's menu is influenced mainly by the food of India's southwestern port city of Mangalore. The mother of Masale Twist's Malaysian founder, Fay D'Cruz, was initially from Mangalore, so this eatery is affectionately established in their family's legacy.

Located in Damansara Uptown, Masale Twist is unlike any other Indian restaurants around. The have an open bar inside the restaurant which is not something you usually see in Indian restaurants here in the Klang Valley. They also serve so many unique dishes, from a mixture of Mangalore cuisien, to western  fusion dishes but they are best known for their ghee-cooked specialties.

    Tips

They have lunch, dinner and beer buffet available from Friday-Sunday. They also have board/card games for you to play with your friends.

    Kovai Spice

Kovai Spice might have risen back from the ashes, but now they are back with a bigger menu. Not only that, they have also included some soups and salads for more diversity. Found under the South Indian cuisine, do not forget to try the Prawn 65. The name might raise a few questions but you will be given a plate with some prawns that are already deep-fried in masala batter. Not only are they crispy, you are able to consume the entire prawn, inclusive of its shell, too!

    Tips

Eat it while it is freshly fried and still warm.

    Things to expect

They serve beers as well by the can.

Over the years, Kanna Curry house at Section 17 has been very popular for its banana leaf rice. Occupying 2 large shop lots, Kanna Curry House can fill more than several hundred people at a time. Fortunately, the service itself is rather prompt and attentive, though they may be a little too persuasive on their side orders of mutton or fish. But overall, the dishes have a decent depth of flavour and a good use of spice.
    Tips

Parking may be difficult, double park and leave your number.
