Best Oyster Omelette in PJ

Restoran Mei Yen may not be the prettiest place to dine, but they do offer a wide range of quality food. Located in Taman Paramount, they are incredibly famous for their lala soup, as well as hokkien mee. That's not all, their simple offering of oyster omelette seemed to do well with crowd. It's incredibly fluffy and light, with a good load of lovely oyster flavour. It's also a little light in comparison as the egg seems to be leaning more towards the undercooked side. But hey, it's soft, fluffy and packed full of flavour.

They pretty much have everything, it's not even surprising anymore. The SS2 'wai sek kai' certainly has almost everything you need under one roof, and that includes the simple but ever-so delicious serving of oyster omelette. Unlike many, the oyster omelette here is done to golden perfection, where the eggs aren't overly cooked, nor are they under. There's a generous amount of oysters, which will provide a richer depth of flavour, as well as the right amount of seasoning. It comes paired with a side of chilli sauce and the combination between the both goes really well together. 

While The Barn is well known for serving wine, beer and pork dishes, little known to many is their fantastic oyster omelette dish. They are generous in providing luscious oysters mixed in a largely egg omelette.
