At the end of the Market Cross road, there is a miniscule pushcart stall serving magical bites of crispy goodies for many years now. The banana is butterflied, dipped in treacly batter and dropped into scorching oil. It's much crispier compared to the other stalls in the list, and the sweet and savoury flavours of a frittered fruit will keep you hooked. Opposite the stall is an Indian stall where you can sip delicious teh tarik and gobble these banana fritters while watching the world go by.

    Tips

At times you’ve got to wait; be seated in the Indian stall to avoid the heat.

    Things to expect

A wide array of deep-fried snacks.
