Roti Canai is considered as one of Malaysia's most iconic dishes. If you've ever seen anywhere else int he world, where they try to depict what Malaysia is like in cartoons or drawings, you'll most likely see 3 things - roti canai, nasi lemak and perhaps satay. This national dish of ours is also incredibly affordable, but undeniably delicious. Firm, chewy, crisp, this delicious concuction of flour, water and egg goes great with some spicy curry!

Sri Teja Foodcourt
Variety and comfort two things that Sri Teja Foodcourt excels in. This massive opened area with a plethora of stalls is home to many great local and international dishes. The place is also fairly chilly, with winds gusting through the the area frequently, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. As for the roti canai, things are kept basic, where each serving of roti canai is done quite nicely with a thin layer of crusting with a good amount of bite in it. It is also served with two types of curry of your choice.

Restoran Ali Maju
Prices are a little higher when it comes to Restoran Ali Maju but quality and taste are assured. Though some may find it underserving, there is no denying that each serving is made freshly upon order. The roti canai, along with the other roti available seemed to be done with less oil, giving it a light flavour as compared to most. However, if you enjoy that sort of style, then this place is definitely worth trying out!

Mamak Cyberia
Mamak Cyberia, like many others out there, provides a wide range of dishes that most Malaysians would enjoy, especially in the middle of the night. Mee goreng, chicken rice, fried rice, indomee and roti canai are some of their best sellers. Done and prepared fresh upon order, the taste and freshness of the roti will not be compromised, giving it an uplifted flavour as compared to those pre-made ones. Curry is also pretty good, though may be salty at times.

Restoran JS Maju
A popular hangout spot for many of the university students as prices and taste pairs up really well. Apart from the attractive shisha, the mee goreng kambing is also something that draws many of its loyal customers back. That being said, the roti canai is also pretty good and is a great companion to the lamb used in the mee goreng kambing. You can simply order that lamb itself and use the bread as substitute to noodles and rice, which is equally delicious.
