The Sotong Tepung was marinated in a mixture of spices and seasonings before being coated in a batter made from flour, cornstarch, and eggs. This results in the squid being crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a flavor profile that is both savory and slightly sweet.

Another popular dish among customers is their smoked fish, that’s because it is done a lot differently than other restaurants. The way Restoran Makan Sedap does it is they wrap the fish in a banana leaf and filling it with gravy. This kind of cooking style is commonly used for stingrays or snapper. You can also choose what kind of cut of fish you want, like fish fillet or the whole fish itself.

The ambience of the place feels a lot like Lok Lok, with its simple plastic table and chairs and different stations of food you’d go up to and order. It is best advised to take the seat under the stations roof to avoid rain.
