In this recent heatwave, a icy cold bowl of cendol is always welcomed to help fight it. Packed with a good amount of shaved ice, coconut milk, cendol jelly and of course, gula melaka, one bowl is merely insufficient.

Haji Shariff's Cendol
Haji Shariff's Cendol is probably the most popular cendol restaurant in Seremban. Anyone you ask, or anywhere you search, they tend to come up first before anyone else. Unlike most of the cendol available, their version is slightly more 'banjir', which is pretty much watery. Do not fret, the flavours is undeniably there and having merely just one is as sinful as it gets - go for 2!

Cendol Leman Dawi
Cendol Leman Dawi is a popular spot for cendol and was once featured on one of TV3's food program. Offering locals and tourists 4 different types of cendol; nuts, pulut, corn or basic, their humble bowl cendol is certainly worth mentioning about. The sweetness is also nicely balanced with the use of santan, along with the other ingredients provided within.

Cendol Kharim & anak-anak
Cendol Kharim - which has a similar resemblance to Calvin Klein's logo, offers one of the best cendol available in Seremban. Their generous amount of 'cendol jelly' has got plenty of customers coming back for more. Unlike many, their shaved ice is fairly course, which makes them last longer in the heat without melting too quickly. A good amount of gula melaka and santan are used as well to give it that depth and sweetness it needs.

Den Cendol
Finding this place won't be easy as you'll need to pay attention to the right stall located on the side of the road. Located in a quiet neighbourhood of Taman Bukit Chedang, this place offers simple and authentic cendol pulut that is great to counter the heatwave in Malaysia. Ice are shaved rather finely along with a good amount of gula melaka used, it tends to melt faster than most. In any case, you might have to drink it!
